Goathland, better known as Aidensfield in Heartbeat, is the highlight of the tour. Wander through this peaceful village, home to many iconic filming locations such as Aidensfield Arms pub, Scripps Garage, and the village shop. Fans of the show will instantly recognize the familiar backdrop, and there’s time to visit the Goathland Station, which also featured in the Harry Potter films as Hogsmeade Station.
The trip then continues to the seaside town of Whitby, famous for its striking Abbey, cliff-top views, and connections to Bram Stoker’s Dracula. Here, you can explore the historic harbour, enjoy traditional fish and chips, or climb the famous 199 steps to the Abbey for panoramic views over the town and coast.
